MemeGenerator.dev is free to use. The tool is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the rights to any image you upload.

Template licensing

The layout templates published on this site are original, rights-clean designs released under CC0. We do not publish or host third-party meme images until each one has passed an individual licensing and rights review. Imported template metadata is kept unpublished until then.

Takedown

If you believe a published template infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it. Any template flagged for takedown is excluded from the site and from the sitemap.

Fonts

The bundled display font is Anton (SIL Open Font License 1.1). “Impact” is used only as a client-side fallback when it is already installed on your device; it is never redistributed by this site.
